The research data life cycle can be divided into several phases as seen in the wheel below; plan, collect, process, analyse, perserve, share and reuse. Note that some phases also have data type specific information, currently avaliable for cellular and molecular imaging data, genomics data, metabolomics and exposomics data, proteomics data, spatial omics data and structural biology data.
